Wells is dishonest for complaining about any Bible Verse to begin with, especially the ones that have already already been addressed over and over again. He has zero excuse to not be aware of the explanations that exist, and you are also without excuse.
The verses have been "addressed" with different explanations by different people, many of whom contradict each other, none of whom understand that an evidence-free explanation is little different from no explanation.  Neither of us need an excuse to disbelieve nonsense.

Furthermore, he has no Objective Basis for why 'Rape' is even wrong to begin with and especially in his worldview.
He has every bit as much of an objective basis as you.

All he has to offer is his opinion and his opinion does not prove that Rape is wrong. Where is his Objective, Absolute, Unchanging Standard for right and wrong. Where is yours?
I agree Steve and I neither have nor need imaginary absolutes to guide us.  If you are happy imagining an absolute exists, bully for you.

And please don't twist or misinterpret my words, (whether onn purpose or not). I'm not saying Rape is okay, by asking these questions. I am simply asking you questions for why it is wrong to (even) begin with.
If you are really interested in talking about it, we can.  However, your prior comments make me think you're not really interested, you're just trying (and failing) to make a point.

Although, if you're going to claim the Bible is opposed to rape, you're just wrong.  The Bible is only opposed to raping women married to other men.  Raping virgins is OK in the Bible, your "Objective, Absolute, Unchanging Standard".
"I agree Steve and I neither have nor need imaginary absolutes to guide us."

You do need one, because without it, you are simply giving your opinion, and so is Wells. Without, an Objective, Absolute, Unchanging Standard, all you have given is your opinion and that doesn't prove that anything is actually right or wrong. However, an Objective, Absolute, Unchanging Standard for Morality does. And you and Wells are unable to provide such a standard.
